Inspirational Cinema

Most of us have at one time or another been inspired or emotionally moved by a film that we have seen....

Movies can affect us so deeply that we really want to share the gifts that they have given us with others. Out of this desire in us both, 'Inspirational Cinema' was born. We had come across the 'Spiritual Cinema Circle' in the US & subscribed to their monthly DVD movie selection, but American tastes being somewhat different to those of us in the UK, we realised that it wasn't entirely what we were both looking for in our own lives.

So, noticing this niche that needed to be filled & realising that between us we had all we needed to start up a small cinema (a nice room with seating for up to thirty, a sound system & digital projector), we began creating a list of films that we each wanted to share.

Since our first screening in March 2005, our audiences have steadily grown & during that time we have shown a selection of films from different genres, with the linking theme being simply that we have found them inspiring.

The films we choose include mainstream & alternative movies, documentaries, biographies, introductions to new age ideas & therapies & also one or two of those Spiritual Cinema Circle films; the ones we think you'll really warm to. If you can suggest a film that you think we should be showing, please get in touch & let us know what it is!

We run Inspirational Cinema on a donations basis, with a suggested donation of £3.50 per adult & £1.50 per child.
